this is water — reflections

“Morning, boys. How's the water?” — and the two young fish swim on for a bit, and then eventually one of them looks over at the other and goes “What the hell is water?”
We gathered to discuss “This Is Water”, the now-famous commencement speech by David Foster Wallace. Although originally delivered to graduating students in 2005, the speech is not really about graduation, or water. It explores something much more universal: how we move through everyday life.
No right or wrong interpretations, and no background in philosophy or literature needed. Listening only is always an option.
